DMV Quagga & Zebra Mussel Boat Sticker

As you know, if you own a sailboat over eight feet long or a boat/vessel with a motor (no matter the size), you must register it with DMV to legally operate it on Lake Arrowhead.

You will also need to pay the Quagga and Zebra Mussel Infestation AND obtain a Quagga sticker.

In past years, the Quagga sticker was included in your boat registration fee.  In 2022 the California DMV has changed this and there is now a separate $16.00 charge for this sticker.

Please be sure to request your sticker if you are visiting the DMV or Automobile Club in person or if paying online; please be sure to add both the registration fee and the quagga fee to your cart.

ALA will not be able to issue you current decals without both of these DMV documents.

Staging Area for Boat Launching

In order to eliminate the dangerous U-turn at Torrey Road and Hwy 173, ALA is asking all Northbound boat launch traffic to use the driveway into the staging area as shown.

Southbound boat launch traffic should use this driveway if there are boats on the ramp and the launching area is occupied.

We appreciate your patience using this safer launch traffic pattern.
