2018 ALA Board of Directors Election

The 2018 ALA Board of Directors Election process began on August 1, 2018. We are excited to see the interest from our members who are picking up Nomination packets to run for the Board.  The three Director seats up for election this year is the East District, South District and At-Large Office A. ALA Members who are interested in running for these seats must meet the qualifications.

As an ALA Member in good standing, you may qualify to become a Candidate for the At-Large Office A seat, as it is not limited by District boundaries. If your improved Residential property is in the South or East Districts, you may qualify to become a Candidate for the South or East District seats in this year's election.

In order to become a Candidate, you must also complete a Nomination Application Packet. Nomination Application Packets are available from August 1st - August 15th in the ALA Office, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 7 days a week. The prospective Candidate must pick up the Nomination Application Packet in person. 

Part of the application process is obtaining seven (7) signatures of Members either in your District (for the South or East District seats) or in any District (for the At-Large Office A seat). The application, signatures and all required Packet paperwork is due by August 15, 2018.
